An incredible job from start to finish with Rose Hill. It started when Tommy came over for the initial consultation and helped us put our vision into motion. Professional, experienced and caring. Once agreeing to start the job his team were at work in days. His team never stopped working and they were friendly and polite to through the 3 weeks we barely knew they were there. A nice touch was that Tommy had a portal brought in front of he property so they never had to come through the house. It now feels like our garden takes us overseas to the Mediterranean. We are so happy and proud and wish it was something we have done earlier as I know we would have enhanced the value of our property and increased the speed and desirability of getting it sold, this was not a cost, it was an investment! We are now able to enjoy entertaining in the garden in November, as well as hopefully throughout next year thanks to a Pergola and bespoke covered area, delivered in amazing style by Rose Hill Luxury Gardens. Not easy on a North facing plot, but brilliantly executed. Shane and Tommy listened to my ideas for year round use of the garden and came up with an very pleasing design to add a pergola to the side of the existing garage -which needed to be adapted to fit- and to completely cover the BBQ area between the garage and car-port with a bespoke roof. Tommy is a great listener and quickly grasped the rough plans I had in my head and made them real, workable and deliverable, adding touches like a heater, a slate faced wall to the rear of the pergola, lighting and power points where necessary. We were confident enough to leave Shane and Dave access for a week while were away as the job start clashed with a pre-planned holiday and the transformation was a pleasure to return to. The following week saw the bespoke roof created, and finished. Barry completed the electrical work and some adding extra lights and points. Professional, hard-working, diligent, team work producing exactly what I had in mind, at the pre-quoted cost. I am more than happy to recommend their services and to leave this review
We are so very pleased that we chose Rose Hill to create our garden. When we first met Tommy we were impressed by how professional and customer focused he was. He asked us what we wanted to use the garden for and how we envisaged it when completed. He listened to us and made suggestions based on our wishes. We felt fully confident that whatever we chose to do Rose Hill could/would deliver. One of our concerns was that there should be no disruption to neighbours, this was taken very seriously by Tommy and the team. A week before the work was due to start Tommy introduced us to Shane who was our project manager. Both Shane and his colleague Dave were friendly, very respectful and highly professional with a keen attention to detail, they are true craftsmen. Each morning we were informed of the plan for the day and when an issue arose we were informed of it and how they intended to address the problem or which options were open to us. We are absolutely overjoyed with the garden, it was a pleasure having Shane and Dave working on it and would not hesitate to go with Rose Hill again. Thank you.
Asked Tommy and Rea for planting ideas for our garden . Rea came up with lovely planting suggestions with lots of advise and recommendations to suit our borders and pots as well as making some suggestions to make better use of our space with small redesign ideas ( our garden has already been landscaped in recent years ) .

We were recommended Rose Hill, by our gate suppliers, to build our brick wall entrance. From start to finish, the whole team have been nothing but amazing - thorough, timely, clean and communicative through each and every step. So much so that we got them to design and install the driveway cobbles, the front garden plants, the soak away system, and the postbox through the wall. Tommy was a pleasure to deal with, coming up with ideas and solutions that we wouldn’t have thought of. He knew the vision we wanted to create and steered us in the right direction, from brick type to pointing colour, to planting plan. We couldn’t recommend strongly enough.

Tommy and his team created a wonderful new area of our garden. The work included an extension and redesign of the existing patio, new panelled fencing and a fabulous new pergola. Tommy was extremely professional right from start to finish, communicating with detail at every stage. Clear pricing and easy to discuss finer details with him. The work was carried out with care and attention to detail, with any questions considered and thought through and fully communicated before execution. Big thanks to Dan who carried out most of the work on site and worked really hard. Joe and Shane were also fantastic. Our job was quite intricate in places and they all took time to ensure it was all completed professionally. Also the electrician Barry was amazing and helped to create fantastic ambient lighting areas, with different zones and colour changing lights. Overall I would highly recommend Rose Hill garden landscaping. We will be looking forward to creating the second phase works on our garden in the near future with Tommy and the team.
Rose Hill was recommended to us when we searched for a company to help give the entrance to our property an improved look. From the start, Tommy and the team were professional, reliable, and so helpful in making our vision come to fruition. From the design of the brick piers to the finishing touches with planting new hedging and helping to re-use any existing foliage that had to be removed, everything was taken into consideration and planned meticulously. The team was happy to work alongside and liaise with our gate manufacturers, making communication open and simple. Anytime we had queries about the designs and the final outcome, Tommy was happy to discuss any hesitations and come up with solutions and different ideas, and always put our minds at ease.

We needed to cat proof our fencing to prevent our little Bengal from escaping but being able to still enjoy the outdoors!
Although this was a new venture for Rose Hill, Tommy came out to have a look and was happy to take on the challenge! What a great job he and Joe did!! The fencing is completely secure with no little spaces for our cat to escape and we are so pleased with the result.

Rose Hill were very professional from start to finish with the removal and replacement of our old decking. Everything was left tidy and (heavy!) pots put back in place. We’re very happy with the job.
I recently had a Pergola, fences cladded and new gates built by Rose Hill. The process was smooth and professional.
The Pergola is sturdy and well constructed, and very well designed. The project was completed on time and within budget.
The contractors on site were diligent, punctual and courteous, and kept us informed throughout the project.
After the work was done they cleared the site and removed all the rubbish.
Very pleased with their work and highly recommend to anyone with an upcoming garden project.
Very happy with the results of our garden rebuild. Tommy was very understanding of our requirements and remained flexible and helpful throughout the process. Shane, Joe and Dave did an excellent job on site and Shane, in particular was very helpful on a day to day basis in solving problems and suggesting solutions. Cannot fault the workmanship and general tidiness that was maintained during the build. We are first time users of artificial grass and cannot imagine ever going back to mowing, feeding, scarifying etc etc. Tommy recommended and implemented the entire plant stock and distribution. Being a winter job the plants are clearly "resting" but excited to see them all develop through spring and into summer. And yes, we have no hesitation in recommending Rose Hill for any size of garden project that you may be considering.
Rose Hill Design & Build were suggested to us as we searched for an East Anglian based garden designer with whom we could collaborate for our Chelsea Garden Trade stand.
As cliché as it may sound, from the first meeting we knew it was a great match.
Not only did they share in our coastal vision, but also in our passion to highlight great independent companies creating seaside inspired treasures.
They took and interpreted our brief and before long the Time and Tide concept was born. Throughout the course of the months leading up to the show, Rea and Tommy were able to be receptive and reactive as our garden started to come to life.
Their communications with both us and our other collaborators was faultless, and allowed for pure peace of mind at an otherwise stressful time. When show time arrived we were blown away with the stand. Until this moment we could only imagine how the finished result would look, having only seen this in our mind's eye… in fact, it was even better than we could have ever imagined!
But it was not just the overall garden that generated immense praise from stand visitors; it was the subtle details, the attention to which could not be faulted.
It allowed the garden to be nuanced and almost private in its secret corners and moments.
We believe it was this extra flare that resulted in us receiving a 5- Star tradestand award at Chelsea Flower Show 2023. We cannot praise, recommend and thank Rose Hill Design & Build enough, and look forward to working closely with them again in the future.
Tommy, Rea and all the team have been amazing. We are so pleased with our new garden. Thank you. I met Tommy who talked through our ideas, which in were really just vague wants and likes - "we need some shade, and some interest!" Rea and Tommy designed a beautiful garden for our busy family of kids and dogs, within the budget we gave. They translated our vague ideas into a perfect design that fit with our home. The 3D video was unreal and pre-flowering, it is already looking very accurate. We were lucky to catch them over winter and the project was completed ahead of time, ready for spring. Shane and Dave were the regulars on the ground. They were so polite and respectful and absolutely brilliant at what they do. Perfectionists some might say! All the other guys were great too. The whole project was managed by Tommy and then through Shane on site. I cannot wait to get them back to complete future projects and couldn't recommend them enough. Tommy and the team came into build brick piers for an entrance gates. They then ended up installing a cobble threshold. More fencing which all looks great. Team are friendly and keep the site tidy. Rembering it's actually our home as well as a building site! Thanks to Bryon, Joe, Shane and Dave for all you hard work through a cold winter! Communication and pricing is clear. Full breakdown of whats been done etc provided. Tommy is responsive to any questions and keeps you up to date via whatsapp of whats going on. They also are in the now in the process of building us an outdoor kitchen and fire pit area which we are excited to see come together.
From the very first contact phone call to the final walk through of the completed project I was absolutely delighted with the service provided by Rosehill. I had an idea of what I wanted but no clue as to how this would translate into my garden space. Rea gathered information from me (Pinterest inspo, photos, plants I like) and put onto paper my beautiful garden. The team started on schedule and were on site and ready at 7.30am every morning. The team were a pleasure to have around, they were hard working, respectful and reliable. Attention to detail was amazing, for example, I was undecided on the colour of my patio grouting so a mock up was made for me using 4 small pieces of my patio tiles and I was able to look at the grout at my leisure and in all conditions until I was 100% happy with my choice. There was total transparency in the costings and Tommy went through everything in great detail with me, there were no hidden costs or last minute additions. Rosehill uses top quality products in both the hard landscaping and planting, this is evident in the first class finish achieved. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rosehill Design & Build Ltd., they are professional, dedicated, reliable and innovative. I am absolutely thrilled with my garden and can't wait to see it develop and grow this Spring.
Rose Hill is not only very professional but also the attention to detail is astounding. One of the guys dug up 2-3 tiles cos they were not perfect. Tommy and team are ever so helpful and friendly and constantly giving us updates on where they are at. They even tidied up our garage on their last day! We love our new patio and front of the house and cannot wait for them to come back next year to put in the raised beds. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.
Rose Hill have been amazing from start to finish for my back garden. From the first point of contact with Tommy, it has been a smooth experience. Tommy took the time to discuss various options with me and explained the process end-to-end. Some very good design recommendations and advice on materials and things we could do to maximise the use of our space. The quotes provided were detailed with options and there is full transparency of costs. There were a number of evenings spent to refine and refine what we wanted before the actual build took place. Tommy's landscaping team were excellent. They turned up on time every day at 7.30AM on the dot and did a stellar job. I was astounded by Shane's attention to detail and his desire to leave me with the perfect finish for everything his team touched. There were things I'd probably not notice but such was the pride taken in the work that at times I was blown away by the end product. I had looked at various companies in Essex to carry out this huge task. I didn't want to do this piece by piece. I wanted an all-inclusive solution and thanks to Tommy's patience to help me get this right, it was an easy decision to select his team. By the time the job started, I was completely reassured and not even nervous in the slightest. I got the distinct impression that Rose Hill enjoyed the level of engagement and collaborative input into my garden. At the end of the day, Shane's team would always clean up and leave the area completely tidy. My neighbours were really impressed at how respectful they were and Tommy received a number of enquiries from passers-by. Rose-Hill is gradually building its portfolio of projects and have a recipe for success. I would totally recommend this company without blinking. I plan on using them again this year to do my front garden, which needs some TLC.
We had our dream garden designed by the Rosehill team which we plan to bring to life over the course of a few years, the first part completed was the outside kitchen, we are over the moon with it, The quality of products, the design and workmanship is second to none, the communication throughout the project was excellent, the guys worked very hard often working before it was light right through til the end of the day. We recently had our garden designed with Rose Hill Design & Build and were delighted with the outcome. Unfortunately we couldn’t have the build done with them as we live so far away, but the remote design service was excellent. My partner and I were clueless with where to start as we don’t have much experience in this field but Rea was patient with us, listened to all of our crazy ideas and somehow managed to create the perfect design for our garden. We’re thrilled with the end result and have found it so much easier finding a landscaper in our area as we have everything we need design wise to get started.
